We hired PI to remodel our kitchen and bath counter tops. Very nice work, but each job needed to be delayed and rescheduled at least twice. We were not in a rush, so not a problem. We asked Michael for an estimate for our kitchen backsplash, which he gave. When my husband contacted Lida re: installation date, he was told it may be as early as the following week, but she needed to contact her tilers to assess the progress of their current job. We waited a week and a half without word. My husband called Edward. He told us he would check with Lida and call us back. Two weeks later, we called again. Edward told us Lida was going to call us the day before, but did not as she needed to check with the tilers re: their progress with their current job. I informed Edward that is the same thing my husband was told by Lida two weeks prior. I then asked Edward if there was a problem communicating with their tilers? He said there was not, but he needed to check with Lida. In the past, we have left many messages with Lida's voice mail without a response. Many times, her mailbox was full. We were either forced to speak with Edward to relay our questions or sometimes, we actually stopped by the office to speak with Lida and Edward, since she did not return her voice mails. For both prior jobs, we needed to call Edward more than once to have him email an estimate for the work. He was always slow, and even admitted once, he had forgotten to send it. Michael has always been very accommodating and professional as well as the other installers. I guess PI is too busy or negligent to respond to the wishes of a returning client. Maybe a back splash job is too small for them to bother with. We could shop for another company if this is the case, but without receiving any return phone calls from Lida and Edward, it is difficult to ascertain what the problem may be. As a result of PI's lack of information and the absence of return phone calls, I advised Edward we would take our business to another more reputable company. Sadly, PI Granite and Tile disappointed, and we will not be recommending their company to others.
